The New Seasson Sucks!!

Anyone else here think the show is really awful this season? It's not terrible but it isn't very good. It has this ultra-modern "chic" appearance to it that it didn't have only a few seasons ago, and I think a lot of it actually has to do with the "look" and feel of the show. For example, when Elaine changed her hair, I think her character started to actually change, as strange as that may seem. I think she no longer has the same great qualities she once had.

This show is trying to be *too* crazy, and it really is backfiring on them. The craziness only works when there is a cohesive, plot-line and not just a string of jokes.

Changes must be made, Jerry, changes... You all deserved a million when the show was *better*, but right now, you all certainly don't deserve a million for the new episodes.

I'm a little tired of people complaining that the show has changed and so have the characters. especially Elaine. Let's face it, folks, the show began in 1989 and had it's glory days in 1992-1993. That was several years ago. How many of you are exactly the same as you were in 1989, or even 1993? The world has changed and so have we all. A lot of innocence has been lost in the last few years, what with the O.J. verdict and the re-election of the biggest liar ever to occupy the White House. People are much more cynical and rightly so. "Seinfeld" has always mirrored our reality, which is why it became so popular and why so many of us love it. If our reality has become more "edgy," it's natural that the show and characters would reflect this.
