What T.V. show was this?!

This is driving me crazy! What T.V. show ended with: "Sit ubu, sit. Good dog."

Help! I know, I must get a life!

I believe that was part of the end credits of Family Ties.

Well -- I think it was more than just Family Ties that ended with that, wasn't it? I think it was used by a production company or something, (I think MTM uses a cat, doesn't it -- it would be kinda like that).

I cant believe you brought that up....I remember that very distinctly but I don't remember it being after Family Ties. Maybe i'm wrong.....it could have been after a bunch of shows...

I remember that distinctly as well. I haven't seen it in a long time but it was the "ionsignia" of a production comapny that produced more than just Family Ties if I remember correctly.

I believe it was Gary David Goldberg's TV production company, UBU Productions. He was also the guy behind "Brooklyn Bridge," and he's got something else this fall.

Hmmm... That's quite possible, since Ubu was actually the name of one of the production companies involved in Family Ties. I can't remember any other show they've worked on, though...

Tons and tons of shows ended with "Sit, Ubu, sit. (Arf.) Good dog." It was the trademark of Ubu Productions, Inc., which produced a whole lot of sitcoms.

Thankyou all for your responses about my T.V. show query. Seems Family Ties was the answer, although several of you thought that the production company that put that show and others used the same sign-off tune.
