Fred Savage's character is the Smog Strangler who killed a girl in "The Trip."
Fans debate whether Fred Savage's character was the Smog Strangler killer in "The Trip," with most agreeing the actual killer was the man arrested alongside Kramer.
Anyone else think that it was Freddy who killed that girl, in the episode where kramer goes to California?? I mean cmon we saw the scene where he ran out carrying kramers script and shortly after the girl is dead with the torn script at the scene, you couple that with the record of child stars and what happens to them when their career goes in the toilet and its a given
freddy is a murderer!!

Yup! Tobias Lehigh Nagy, the Smog Strangler. BTW, There's a Clint Howard fan page on the web somewhere, detailing every TV and movie appearance. It mentioned that EVERYTHING that Ron worked on included a bit part for Clint. Way to look out for your bro.
I saw Clint Howard get a tribute at the MTV Movie Award Show. I never knew he was Ron Howard's brother, I never knew his name, but boy has he been around. And a couple of night's ago when they reran the serial killer episodes, I screamed, "Hey! That's Clint Howard!".
It was. Maybe this guy missed the last few minutes of that episode.

Besides, if you watch the scene closely, you'll see that not only does
Kramer hand the girl a copy of the treatment, but Fred Savage doesn't
hold onto the copy he's handed. it falls to the ground.
