Where is Jerry??

Just a quick question, When Seinfeld comes on and they show those clips of Jerry doing stand-up, are those really from his routine or is it just staged? Also, does he still do stand-up or are those days forever gone? Thanks in advance for everybodies time.

Those were real, and the reason they were phased out in the last couple seasons is the Jerry is too busy with the show to do any new stand-up.

Jerry (Seinfeld) got bored with the stand up intro's last year so, they weren't in the most recent season. They had, instead, 'slice o life' scenes, not neccesarily related to the show. I also think jerry slips down to a local comedy hangout and occasionlly does some new material, but, when u can use Leno as your tryout audience, that says alot :) ALL HAIL JERRY KING OF nothing (ok, the hysterical nothing)

and hey, don't forget about the pilot in the audience.. "I just don't want you to freak out." ... heheh, gotta love that "katie".. :)
