Why did women on Friends, Seinfeld and Suddenly susan all smoke cigars... Is there some weird falic thing going on here?

I don't know if it's true for the single guy. I was Living Single instead.

Also a lot of people starting to smoke cigarettes on TV after years of not! Probably there is some money coming in from the tobacco industry for "product placement."

Does anyone watch the Single Guy. I heard they had a "sparkling" new cast, but as soon as I saw Ernest Borgnine - always one of my favorite actors, but a pariah since "Airwolf" - and the 30something clone guy married to the oriental, I started to channel surf. Interesting docu on PBS about restoring ecosystems. Yeah, Costa Rica!

"Suddenly, Susan" couldn't keep me awake.

There were definitely changes made to "The Single Guy"...changed it to be more like Seinfeld!! Completely different apartment, now has a kitchen with a low wall; some scenes in a diner--didn't they think anyone would notice? Sorry, I had marginal tolerance for this show last season, and now they've gone too far, baby!

It is very trendy for women to smoke cigars these days. I suppose men find it alluring because of what it looks like the women are doing.
