Puerto Ricans Angry-NBC Apologizes!

Apparently NBC had to apologize for several references in the Thursday episode, including Kramer's setting of the flag on fire and stomping it out as well as a reference he made in the show about "this kind of stuff happens every day in Puerto Rico". Not quite the glowing publicity they would have liked going into the last show.

Any publicity can be good publicity. ABC didn't care if you hated Howard Cosell or if you loved him, just that you watched MNF.

By the way, apologies are demanded from NBC, the producers, the writers and Seinfeld himself. Interesting to see people's "takes" on this issue versus Native Americans and the nicknames of sports teams.
