The one where his old friend comes to visit and breaks the news that she is engaged just when Jerry think's he is going to get lucky.
He's wearing them when Kramer drops his famous "you got any meat?" line.
Also notice the faux-pas with the fridge light in the two different scenes when Kramer is searching for meat???

My favourite bit from the first episode is George talking about going against ones instincts and doing the opposite. Of course it took him five years to put his theory into practice.
Of course, if Jerry washed his red sweatpants in the same load with Becky Gelke's blue sweatpants, they might find themselves running together in purple sweatpants. :-)
