A few funny Seinfeld-movie connections I've noticed:

An entire episode of Seinfeld revolved around how bad "The English Patient" supposedly was. The director of that movie, Anthony Minghella, followed it up with "The Talented Mr. Ripley", which included performances by two actors who've been on Seinfeld, Philip Baker Hall (Joe Bookman), and Jack Davenport (the prosecutor from the finale). I wonder if he realized two of his actors had been on a show that had destroyed his previous movie!

Also, Bob Balaban (Dalrimple) had a small part in "Midnight Cowboy", another movie Seinfeld has made reference to ("The Mom and Pop Store"). If I remember correctly, he plays a gay man who makes sexual advances toward the Jon Voigt character in a public bathroom.

Some more obvious examples of Seinfeld referring to movies that its actors have been in are Wayne Knight (Newman) in the JFK parody, and Marisa Tomei ("My Cousin Vinny").

Any other examples?

Chariots of Fire - Jerry racing his old high school friend (never saw the movie, but I think they played the song during the race).

Thelma and Louise - Kramer and the car salesman (Kramer buying a car for Jerry).

I love that episode. The Race - there are three movie references in it - "Superman", "High Noon" and "Miracle on 34th Street".

The High Noon connection has to do with "blacklisting" its Hollywood writer (Foreman) as a "communist" in the 50's. That whole "communist" "blacklist" thread is evident in the episode along with the "old enemy" (gunslinger) coming back to fix a score with a showdown on the street. WOW! They are great!

The Fatigues - When Frank Costanza finally tells Kramer why he won't cook, it flashes back to a scene of Frank's cooking days in the Korean War. He overspices the meat, and then we see (in slow motion) many soldiers coughing and gagging. All the while, Barber's Adagio for Strings is playing in the background, which was used as the theme from "Platoon".

I didn't mean movie references in general, I meant references to movies that have someone in them who's also been on Seinfeld. Like the references to "Midnight Cowboy", which featured Bob Balaban who played Dalrimple on Seinfeld, or the JFK parody that included Wayne Knight. I know that's an awfully specific category to list, but I thought there might be other examples.
