Poster questions why a dry cleaner's "In by 10, out by 5" sign doesn't apply to clothes dropped off after 10 AM, learning that it's an optional premium service rather than a standard guarantee.

someone earlier started a thread on seinfeldian moments, how about a seinfeldian question...

Why is it that they have a sign in my dry cleaners that says "In by 10, out by
5", yet if I  bring my clothes in at even 10:01 or so on a Tuesday, they won't
let me pick them up till Friday? If I bring in it Tuesday morning or afternoon,
am I not beating the Wednesday, in by 10, out by 5 rule???

I've got to figure out a way to charge for these answers..scheesch.

In by 10.. out by 5 is an option. Kinda like "same day service" or "24hr Martinizing". You don't get it unless you request it [and I should add, pay for it]. 3 day service - standard.. faster, extra. Got it??
