Yes, it was DEFINITELY James Spader. And, I dont know If anyone else noticed that the first kid who entered Baskin Robbins at the end was Michael Fishman who played D.J. Conner on Roseanne. Jon B.

James Spader is one of my favorite actors but I would not have cast him for a Seinfeld episode. He's too "pretty" and not "New York enough" to fit in, even as a one time performer.

Jesus Christ are you anal or what? Spader was brilliant. What about all of Jerry's blonde, blue-eyed dates with no New York accents. Do you get bent over them too? How about Peterman? Does he strike you as the New York type. Beleive it or not there are some people in New York from other parts of the country. James Spader was cast perfectly.

First of all, I resent that. My opinion of James Spader was just that-- an opinion, which means there is no right or wrong answer. I didn't say he was no good in the role from an acting stand point because he was. Lighten up, okay?

What the heck does "New York enough" supposed to mean? He's meant to be a vacuous "pretty boy" thoroughbred studhorse, and now people are beginning to notice he's got a real personality, too? He's obviously being "used" to knock up Elaine, and then he'll be out of the picture pronto.

Wow! I was pretty surprised to see him on tonights episode. I guess that puts Gary Oldman at the top of my "celebrities I would have never expected to appear on a sitcom".
