Seinfeld Replacements

Just shoot me would be alright, even though this is a young show. I think it does need to improve a little before it takes on the most powerful slot on TV. Third Rock would be the best idea in my opinion. Frasier leaving Tuesday would leave Tuesday with not much else since Mad About You(Paul Reiser is annoyinG!!) is up in the air. I'd also like to see Newsradio put back on Thursdays.

I see NBC moving Friends to 9pm since they've caught a bit of heat in the past from conservative groups complaining that the show has too much sex-talk for that early time slot. Then they'll maybe move 3rd Rock to Thurdays at 8pm as the early lead-in since its tanking against Drew Carey.

Just for laughs, who would you guys cast if the show was going to stay on, but with different actors????????

It has come to our attention that some current actors have pending deals with other production companies. Some will seek to expand into film. To them, let us remember -- Shelley Long and David Caruso.

Pending the outcome of a current legal proceeding, we have identified a potential replacement for Kramer. He has a very high Q score, indicating the public is very aware of his name. Name recognition is off the charts. In focus groups, he has gotten quite a reaction. He is little rough around the edges, but exactly the kind of grungy actor our 18-49 demographics are seeking. On the positive side he's been getting lots of peripheral exposure, including some recent magazine covers.

Close your eyes and picture in the role of Kramer -- Ted Kayzinski. Yes the Unabomber, correction -- alleged Unabomber. If he is acquited we can get him at very good price. If he's found guilty, appeals and re-trials might push back our production schedules. Of course Ted dislikes the technical end of the business, but he has some innovative ideas, and is a prolific, if not humorous, writer. And he is a Harvard misfit, so he'll blend in well with our staff-writers. Imagine the tune-in factor for the first couple of episodes. If we can hook the viewers then, we can continue another quality NBC product. Manimal and SuperTrain will be distant memories.
