clues to last episode

Okay, now that we're into the home stretch (that is, the last 10 episodes), these are the shows that are supposedly leading up to the finale. I sort of assumed this to mean there will be some sort of common plot thread (a la season four) in these last 10 episodes. This season's carryover plots have consisted of Jerry's search for a new car, George's searching and attaining new jobs, and Elaine's continuing relationship with Puddy.

So if "The Cartoon" started the lead off to the finale, what kind of direction is it giving us? Which way is the show headed? Will elements from this episode be carried on?

The gradual buildup of homosexual undertones has been evident in the past few episodes: Newman peeking in Kramer's peephole, George's "man-love" for Jerry, Jerry's purse, fur coat and "nail polish manicure" he begged Kramer to keep secret. Perhaps the final episode will consist of an "Ellen" takeoff where the guys all come out of the closet? Or Jerry, through hilarious circumstances, grows more feminine until he ends up becoming a transvestite (in a transformation similar to Kramer's "pimp" back in "The Wigmaster").

But seriously, anyone else have any ideas what the recent episode hints at in terms of a finale?

I agree totally with the homosexual thread. I think that Jerry will finally come out of the closet along with maybe George. Jerry has not really been happy with any of the women he has been with. He always finds something wrong with them. George also has the same problem with comittment, he cannot get into a serious relationship except maybe Susan, he was looking for a way out of that for the longest time. I think that Jerry is the most likely to come out, and George is about 50/50.
