Jerry's Sneeze Response

In the past I have seen postings referring to the response Jerry gives in reaction to a sneeze. On the 100th episode special, I saw a clip of Jerry in a doorway with beautiful woman who sneezed. Could someone put this in context and repeat what it is that Jerry said, and why?

This was the show where George gets into trouble for saying God Bless You to a girl before when her Boyfriend doesn't. I think they break up over it. Then Jerry and Elaine (and maybe George) have a discussion about the expression "Gob Bless You". Basically they say that after a sneeze, you should say something that makes the person fell good - and they come up with "You're sooo good looking".

In "The Good Samaritan", Jerry sees a hit-and-run and follows the person responsible. When the car stops, he gets out to confront the person and a woman gets out and smiles at him. They wind up having a decaf cappucino and Jerry doesn't mention the accident. He had been on the phone(in the car) with Elaine when he saw it, so she knew about the accident. Jerry makes up a story about confronting some guy and scaring him off with his karate. Elaine asks George to go to dinner with her because she hates being by herself with a married couple. So, George and Elaine go to dinner with this married couple and Elaine makes up a story about having an affair with a bullfighter. The married woman sneezes, George waits a second, then says "God bless you." She thanks him and he says "I wasn't going to say anything, but then I saw that he wasn't going to open his mouth." The husband gets mad and later at Jerry's, Jerry says that when someone sneezes, you should say "You're sooo good looking." The girl in the doorway is this girl who Jerry has been trying to meet for a while. It was her car that was hit. Jerry tries to pay her the amout for the damage while trying to protect the woman who hit her car. Becky accuses Jerry of hitting her car and she sneezes. Jerry then says, "You're sooo good-looking," and she slams the door on him. Hope this isn't very confusing, this is a great episode.
