The actress who played the girl was Tawnie Kitaen, ex-wife of the lead singer of the group "Whitesnake". If you ever watch MTV you may have seen her, she starred in a few of Whitesnake's music videos ...
It's the brain versus the penis. Jerry is dating a woman played by Tawny Kitain (sp?). She makes him read horrible plays with him and he does just to get the sex. Jerry says "It's like my brain and penis are playing a chess match and the brain is letting him win."
