I thought it was a throwback to "The Parking Garage" and "The Chinese Restaurant". I think they could have done more with the burning flag incident. Kramer got off way too easy. I hate those gay guys. It would have been funnier to have Kramer wave it around more while trying to put it out and have news reporters and camera crews come over to cover the "protest," then have a huge riot in the streets all because Kramer is an idiot.

Fans think the Puerto Rican Day episode could have been stronger, wanting more development of the flag-burning incident and better storylines for Kramer and Elaine rather than underutilized plots.

I would have liked to have seen Kramer get right up in those two guys' faces and start going off on them like a lunatic, screaming and shaking uncontrollably. "Oh yeah? Oh yeah?", he says, pointing a finger in both their faces. "Your mouths just wrote checks your asses can't cash, swishers!" Then Kramer proceeds to drop to his knees and give both a quick gulotta (punch to the nuts), gets back up from his knees, and rams both their heads together. He leaves the gays laying, and as he's walking away, he turns to the camera and says..."Yeah. Don't fuck with Kramer. Giddiyup!"

Yes, A lot of the themes could have been better - Elaine was trying to get home to watch 60 minutes? so what. it certainly did not interest viewers in her plight. It did not help the drama (I know it's a comedy) - there should have been a more interesting reason - and it should have integrated into the plot and the people she met... oh well -it's easy for me to say I don't have to write it.
