Newman in Dirty Dancing

Just saw the movie Dirty Dancing again after about 4 years of not seeing it and noticed Wayne Knight who plays Newman on Seinfeld was in it. I didn't remember him being in the movie before even though I remember his character....I guess because I didn't know about Newman on Seinfeld last time I saw the movie. In the few scenes he was in, he always made that evil "Newman" laugh even though he wasn't supposed to be evil in the movie. Just wanted to let people know about this since I haven't heard this mentioned before in this newsgroup. By the way, If you haven't seen this movie yet, rent it!! It's a great movie...one of my all time favorites.

I was clicking through the tube yesterday and saw Newman giving a comedy routine on the movie Dirty Dancing. I had never seen the movie, so I continued watching and noticed Newman was in there several times. Does anyone know of any other moview w/ Newman?

Yes, Newman has appeared in a few movies. He was in Dead Again. he played a newspaper reporter I believe. Quite a different character from Seinfeld. I am not sure of the titles of his other films but I know he has been in 3 or 4 at least.

And we cann't forget about his role in Jurassic Park. Besides the T-Rex/Raptors, he is the main bad guy.

Oh, that's right! He was the guy who sat at the computer all the time. One of the three people running the park. ;-) (sorry, I just could never figure out how a park the size of Jurassic Park -- and as dangerous -- could be "run" by only a dozen people) His character was sort of the same in Jurassic Park.

Newman was also in Jurassic Park as Dennis Nedry.

I think he was also in the Kenneth Brannaugh/Emma Thompson movie "Dead Again." I don't remember much about his character except that he was a friend of Kenneth Brannaugh's character.

Wayne Knight (Newman) was a bad guy in Jurassic Park. He was also on the short-lived, but hilarious "The Edge" on TV a few years back, with Julie Brown and Jennifer Aniston. He's great.
