I don't know if this has been done before; watch a TV show while also in a chat room with fellow fans. For example, say a Seinfeld show is on in a certain time zone...people could arrange ahead of time to meet in a chat room during that time. They can comment during show/during commercials and after show... What does everybody think/would you want to try it??

The whole thing is set to go if anyone is interested. It's on Larry Thomas' official website (the Soup Nazi), and I maintain it myself. If someone has an alternative, that's fine, but I figured i'd lend a hand.
All you do is go to http://www.soupnazi.tv and on the left you'll see a "CHAT" link. Once you click on it, you're in the chat room (run via "java" which is universal and doesn't require a download in most cases). You'll be recognized as "Anonymous" with a number attached. This gives you the option to.. uh...be anonymous. However, you can change your name to whatever nickname you want right below the text box where you speak.
Easy as pie. I design Larry's official webpage, and he is a very cool guy, and I know I can convince him once in awhile to join in on the discussion. He's a fan of "Seinfeld" too, because well, he received an Emmy nomination because of it which is no small feat.
I don't think I can participate in all the discussions, but if anyone wants to go for it and do a Seinfeld chat, my webspace is all yours. Keep everyone posted here, as it would be fun to syncronize a chat with a bunch of Seinfeld fans.

I can never get enough of the Soup Nazi episode, because now I watch Larry Thomas closely to see why he got an Emmy nomination. It's his expressions! Has to be. When he's mad he blinks real fast, and he when he belts out "no soup for you", he acts like he's even surprising himself how mad he is. The facial expressions are simply brilliant, and it's hard for someone to teach that. I think the academy realized that, thus giving him an Emmy nomination. Not sure any actor has accomplished that feat- his first episode and he's at the Academy Awards.
Incidentally, Larry was on a Cleveland radio show this morning, and the discussion was alot of Seinfeld and his Soup Nazi character. It's about 12 minutes long, and I will have it on my website in 3 parts perhaps by tonight. The DJ's didn't think much of the final Seinfeld episode, and Larry touches on that subject as well. Pretty neat interview.
