Can someone answer this?

I have noticed in many eps. where they show Elaines apartment, there is a picture of a woman on the table behind the couch. Is this just a prop picture meaning to be Elaines mom or is it someone related to Julia in real life. This woman looks like someone I have seen before and I thought she may be an actress. Anyone know?
