OF COURSE Jerry Seinfeld isn't stupid! I can believe that he may have had trouble remembering where he parked his car, but that doesn't make him stupid.
In fact, extremely creative people, whose brains are constantly going, thinking of all kinds of ideas all at once, have a tendency to be forgetful at times. It's hard to remember where you left your car if your brain is so busy with various other things.
I wonder if "The Parking Garage" episode was inspired by a true story. If Jerry habitually forgets where he parked, it makes sense that he would do an episode about it.
I never met Jerry Seinfeld personally, yet I think I can say with certainty that he is a very intelligent individual. However, intelligence and memory are two different things.
