just wondering?

I know its an American show, and there is a lot of American humor...I was wondeing what other cultures thought about Seinfeld...Me for instacne I enjoy some Engish shows that I have been able to see(i.e. The Young Ones, Flying Circus, Absolutly...). I guess I was just wondering if the American comedy had the same effect on other cultures?

I'm Iranian and I live in Italy and I'm a huge Seinfeld fun. Is it enough?

Unfortunately because BBC2 showed it at an unearthly hour, most people never got to see it in the UK. It is considered more of a "cult" show than a runaway smash like it should have been.

Now, if only it had been shown in the Friday night 9pm slot reserved for Friends on Channel 4, I reckon it would have really taken off. I mean, even Will & Grace has a better following than Seinfeld here I would imagine.

So, to answer (kind of) your question - if you're a Seinfeld fan and quote something/refer to the show etc in this country (UK) you generally have to explain what you mean "You know, Seinfeld... American sitcom, he was a comedian, got loads of cash..." "Yeah, I think I've heard of it" whereas most other places (or USA at least) people will know what you're talking about straight away.

I guess that's why the Weakest Link Special Seinfeld Sidekicks Edition hasn't been shown here (has it?) More on that soon, you lucky people!
