Well since everyone's got an opinion here's mine.
Overall, it was pretty funny, which is the main point of it all anyway, right? However, I'm diappointed that the show (and all the hype) only focused on the pathetic aspects of the characters.
And that Geraldo stuff was useless, unfunny filler. They could have used that time for more witnesses, even some that told about all the GOOD things they have done for other people (many examples of this in other postings).
I'm glad they tied up some loose ends especially Babu & the contest winner.
Given that they end up in jail, the shirt-button bit was a perfect ending, though I'm not sure whether it's an homage to Waiting for Godot or Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman.
However, I think [email]'s idea that they be sentenced to be the carjack victim's butler would have been hilarious!! MUCH better than the actual show or any other idea I've seen here (and better than what I was somehow expecting the judge to do -- sentence them to a year in L.A.)
Maybe they should have just had a typical, but tighter and funnier last show, instead of an over-drawn self-referential good-bye "Final Episode"? That would have been unexpected and who knows, maybe another classic.
