The Seinfeld LOGO that is shown at the start of each show appears to have a different color background oval for each season ( or something ).

Does anyone know if there is any significance to this.

I've observed the following, which may not be totally correct.

Season______________color(s)

1 & 2 - no colored oval only block type letters 3 - yellow 4 - sparkly silver early and yellow later 5 - solid grey 6 - lime green 7 - dark green 8 - checker board - is this like the checked flag (the end) { what might have been the final season]

Part of season four is yellow? I've thought that all of 4 was the speckles! Can anyone else confirm?

Actually, I think it's the other way around (yellow at first, then speckled) because "The Trip, Part II" had a yellow logo and it was the beginning of season 4.
