Kramer sublet from Paul Buchman (?)

Didn't KRAMER sublet his apartment from PAUL BUCHMAN (or someone from another sitcom, if not Paul)? I seem to remember an episode where Jamie (or the wife if another show) found out that he kept his bachelor pad but sublet it to Kramer. Then she made him give up the apartment, which prompted a visit by Paul to Kramer's apartment to turn over the lease. I don't remember if it was an episode of Mad About You or an episode of Seinfeld -- but it did happen that way, didn't it? I guess Paul must have lived there before Jerry moved in across the hall (?)

Now what *really* pisses me off is on an episode of Seinfeld George and Susan were watching MAD ABOUT YOU, when I first saw that episode I asked myself, "what the f*ck". Well after I recovered from that rather earth shattering blow there was an episode of the John Larroquette show were he was talking with Frasier on the telephone. Sheeeeeesh! What the hell have these network suits done? Each of these links is as shaky as a leaf. Do they expect us to believe all of there best shows take place in the same universe, at least the writers of Seinfeld have not initiated any of these crossovers. Now that I have embarrased myself with an admission of my inane must-see-tv knowledge, I slither back to my couch and clicker. Better yet I should go outside for a change. :-)

It was an episode of Mad about You. Paul Reiser DOES make a comment to Kramer "Hey, what ever happended to that guy in the appartment?" (Points to Jerry's appartment door). Kramer responds "Oh, he's doing a pilot for NBC" (Reiser laughs).

So Paul probably lived there when Jerry did.
