...with the magic Seinfeld time slot: Keep putting old Seinfelds there. Most Americans love Seinfeld but haven't seen nearly as many episodes as us freaks. Put it there until its ratings dwindle or until you find a better show, NBC! Try it! Milk that puppy!
What I think NBC should do...
Actually, the should run a Seinathon...starting with the first episode....in four hour blocks sans commercials...until they get through all nein seasons....or do you suppose that would take the $ out of syndication market?
Who wants to bet by Xmas there is a "complete Sein" set on the market for 300-400$ ?

I think both of those ideas would take money out of the syndication market (which is quite large anyway). I actually hope they don't do those things, because it will make the syndication episdoes less interesting. I don't ever want to get bored of them. So I wouldn't buy a set.

The stations who put up the hundreds of millions of dollars to buy those rights rights won't be too pleased. I don't even know if NBC even has rights to the old shows anymore.
I think thats several years a way. They are going to squeeze much out of syndication as they can, then they will sell the tapes. I think they just released a bunch of _Archie Bunker_ episodes recently. If they do release them on video, you will probably get 4 episodes at a time, probably starting with pilot.
