I know why Kramer didn't like Jerry's new girlfriend "from the get-go." He's jealous . . . of her. He's not romantically in love with Jerry, but he doesn't want to see Jerry get into a serious relationship that will break up the gang. (He once encouraged Jerry and Elaine to admit that they love each other. A Jerry/Elaine relationship would not alter Kramer's world.)
I wonder about the future of the fab four. Elaine seems to want out (if tonight's episode is any indication). Obviously, George isn't getting married now, and Jerry isn't likely to go through with his engagement. Kramer? Never gonna get married. I have a feeling Elaine is the only one with a serious shot at a "normal, healthy adult" life. She'll be the first to leave. Kramer's in it forever. So is Jerry. Georgie-boy will die from a heart attack or ulcers in a few years, so Jerry's "nightmare future" will likely come true. The thing is, Kramer doesn't see it as a nightmare. It's his *dream*. He *loves* his life the way it is, and he'd like to continue on the same path for as long as possible.
