Product Placement

Of all the products that ever appeared in a Seinfeld episode... TWIX (the only candy bar with the cookie crunch) has to have benefitted the most. THEY'RE STILL EVERYWHERE, AND SPREADING!!! Even at car dealerships in those same "drop-down vending machines!

I just bought another "11-pack" yesterday. That's how they come... not a dozen... not ten, or even in eight-packs. ELEVEN!!! What else in this whole wide world comes packed in "elevenses"???!!!

No doubt another unsolvable mystery - caused by that show! Everything else you can buy to eat or drink, unless it's a single item, comes in EVEN NUMBERS! Even the number of balls on a pool table is 16. (You've got to count the cue-ball).

Buried somewhere in all this is the key to SOMETHING!

Now I've got more of those tiny crumbs on the couch. Could THAT be significant? And still... Why eleven?

I can't recall ever seeing "eleven packs" before, now that you mention it. You're right. I even googled it, and it only showed bad search results, no real eleven packs.

What about Eleven as a baby name? We've got Isosceles, Soda, and Seven, why not Eleven? Eleven Costanza! Eleven Puddy! Eleven Seinfeld!

No lie!!! The thought just occurred to me that it must be to make the weight of the box come out to a whole number. Got the box off the top of the refrigerator. Check "this" out!... "11-0.98 OZ BARS (10.78 OZ) / 11-27.8g BARS (305.8g)". That's even worse than those musicians with their complicated shoes!

There is DEFINITELY something more going on with the 11-pack TWIX than meets the eye!

(Why so many people keep their candy bars ON TOP OF THE REFRIGERATOR... that's another mystery altogether).

I REMEMBER "Postum"... seeing in the supermarkets as a little kid. I seem to remeber that it cme in a glass jar with a silver and blue llabel. What I CAN'T REMEMBER is whether or not I have ever had any, collected any, added any, boiled any, froze any, or whatever one was supposed to do with it.

Is it like a sort of coffee? or more like chocolate? a combination? Chickory? Just what the hell did people do with "Postum"? And wasn't it called "Instant Postum"? even though I'm pretty sure there wasn't a "Regular Postum".

If there was "regular", what sort of apparatus is required to do whatever one does with it? And why do I think that Kramer would know?

Hence, the adherence to the much more prestigious-sounding "oval". Something like, "NEVER go out on a chilly morning to start your Lincoln Navigator without a good hot cup of OVALTINE!!!" That works.

YUGO DRIVERS on the other hand, would like "ROUNDTINE". (when they can get the parts)
