I was really looking forward to watching Seinfeld last night, but when I turned on the TV, I found that "Mary Poppins" was on instead. This was on the Detroit NBC affiliate, WDIV. Was this the case everywhere? Apparently, a local independent station which also broadcasts Seinfeld, did show an episode last night (although it may not have been a new one). Was there a new episode aired anywhere, or was Mary Poppins showed everywhere? If anyone saw Seinfeld, how was it?

You missed a hilarious episode of Seinfeld!! (One good thing about living in the Boston area is, if the Boston affiliate of one of the networks pre-empts a show, you can tune into the Providence (RI) one instead.)
The episode was about airplane travel. It would be difficult to go into too much detail. But the show was "back to basics" in that it was about "nothing" except an everyday set of experiences, blown way out of proportion. IMHO, this was a classic episode.
