Supporting Characters

Has anyone else noticed the array of interesting back-up characters on this show. They're eiter unknowns who do fantastic and memorable jobs, or they're little-knowns who you recognize from somewhere but can't quite place it. Last night's "Smelly Car" show had a few that came to mind. Let's test your obscurity reference lists out there:

Maitre'd: A friend of mine says this is the same maitre'd from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" where he played another maitre'd.

Elaine's Beau: I'm pretty sure this is the guy who acted as Dennis Miller's sidekick on the short-lived "Dennis Miller Show"

Hairdresser: I'm embarrassed not to know his name because he's one of my favorite comedians. I've seen him in a few bit roles. One that comes to mind is his role as a stand-up comic in "Punchline" with Tom Hanks and Sally Field.

Video Store Attendant: The ever-memorable Malakai (sp) from "Children of the Corn". Also played in a Tom Hanks movie, "The `Burbs".

Taylor Negron.

Unfortunately I know because I can't stand that guy.

I was very disappointed to see him on the show, but I suppose it's likely various comedians will be on the show in minor roles here and there. As long as he doesn't become a regular.

As far as the BO episode in general, was it just me, or did it seem to not end right? Or will the BO be back?

The Maitre'd was certainly NOT the same one as from Ferris Bueller (in fact, they look nothing alike)

The hairdresser's name is Taylor Negron. One of my favorite comedians, he had a Showtime special, and was in the film Nothing But Trouble with Chevy Chase, Dan Akroyd, etc.
