Okay, I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I was *really* disappointed by "The Mango". It seemed to me as if Jerry, Larry David & Co. were trying to create another "The Contest", but weren't able to capture lightning in a bottle twice. For example, the way everyone kept saying "faked it" over and over and over was a pretty blatant attempt to create another "master of your domain" kind of catchphrase. It reminds me a little of "Wayne's World" on SNL. It was originally a very funny, very clever sketch that got buried at the end of each show. When it got moved to the first half hour and became popular, Mike Myers decided to try and develop catchphrases - thus, the annoying overuse of "NOT!", "Fished in!", and "Schwing!", phrases which were funny for a while but just got tedious. Now, I'm glad that "Seinfeld" has gotten the large audience that it deserves, but I just hope that the creators don't start playing to the larger audience and instead go back to doing what made the show great in the first place - "nothing" (note: the best part of the whole show was the fruit subplot, which was much closer to "classic" early Sein than stuff like "The Pilot" and "The Mango").
