favorite one-shot character

I'd love to get fans' input on their favorite Seinfeld character who appeared in one episode, and one only, thereby disqualifying the Jerry and George's parents, Bania, Susan, etc. Some candidates obviously come to mind (the soup guy), but my favorite was the tax accountant who was committed after a relationship with George. I liked it for two reasons: 1. A weird idea for a character. Why would a tax accountant, of all people, go mad? (As opposed to going postal.) 2. She was wonderfully played by Valerie Mahaffey, a first-rate comic actress who should've become the 1990s Julie Hagerty. (Maybe she has; they've both effectively vanished from the world of movies and TV!)

Let's hear your nominations, and explain why...

Gotta be Mr. Bookman, the library detective. His 'Dragnet'-style delivery was a riot. Honorary mention goes to Judge Reinhold as the close talker, I don't think he was in more than one episode.

The Bizzaro Jerry-I love that guy. If only the episode had had him and Seinfeld talk.

Sorry Ron, Bizarro Jerry was actually in 2 episodes and thus he cannot be included in this contest.

The talented and very pretty Ms. Mahaffey was on one of the later CHEERS episodes as John Hill's daughter with a certain ambivalence about dating Sam.

As for my "nomination": Lieutenant Bookman, Library Investigator (played by Philip Baker Hall, who also appeared on CHEERS, playing the incumbent congressman that Woody defeated) in "The Library" episode.

Why? Because there was no greater scene on s/f than that between Bookman and Jerry in Jerry's apartment. Excerpt:

"Yeah, '71. That was my first year on the job. Bad year for libraries. Bad year for America. Hippies burning library cards, Abby Hoffman telling everybody to steal books. I don't judge a man by the length of his hair or the kind of music he listens to. Rock was never my bag. But you put on a pair of shoes when you walk into the New York Public Library, fella."

2. The Soup Nazi. He can just look at you and scare you to death. The same actor can bve seen as Primo in the great movie "Big Night" where he is just as funny in a totally different character.

4. The woman who makes Jerry use her toothbrush. (actually I think that the actress appeared again in the show as another character but memory is weak here)

I liked the way Tony (the rock climber) made George act. It was so funny watching George "in love" with Tony.

That was funny, and reminiscent of Jerry in love with Keith Hernandez.
