Here's one I thought of last night while watching. Maybe this has been brought up in the ng before. Anyway, I think this is pretty unique to Seinfeld among sitcoms. How many instances can you remember where the characters definitely, blatantly cursed?
Here's a few:
o Last night, as Elaine went into Jerry's bathroom (right before
Ramone the pool-man arrived), she was saying "I don't give
a shit" - she closed the bathroom door just in time to drown
out the very end of it, but there wasn't much doubt about what
she saido I don't remember off-hand what episode it was in - but Jerry heard everyone muttering curses under their breath and he kept declaring that he "heard something." One of these incidents was I think in a taxi cab and Elaine was mumbled that something Jerry was trying to peddle to her sounded like "a crock of shit."
o Of course the "big" one that everyone remembers was when the 10-year old boy (who Jerry had tried to convince not to curse or he would never be able to become a comedian like him), destroyed Jerry's cassette tape of valuable new stand-up material - and he yells at the kid, "What the fuck are you doing, you little piece of shit!"
