Tim Whatley's hair

Well the Seinfeld writers have succesfully destroyed another great character: TIM WHATLEY. First they shave his trademark hair, then they give him a stupid, unfunny, ludicrous plot line to follow (the Judism conversion). I wonder who the writers will destroy next...Babo, or maybe Poppie, or Newman. Larry David must be sick....

Maybe the actor had another acting job that called for him to cut his hair.

And how is his converison to Judism any more unbelievable than the way he sexually abused his patients while they were under the gas? That episode happened to be one with the "Larry David touch".

And I wouldn't blame the writers. One of this episode's writers also wrote "The Smelly Car" and "The Implant". Just thought you might like to know...

Maybe they cut his hair to symbolize the circumcision that a jewish male undergoes at birth?
