Does anyone recall the news from months back that part of a 9th season episode was going to be shot on location in NYC? (A first for the show.) Unless it's tomorrow night's episode, "The Puerto Rican Day," or the finale, I've yet to see it...and I certainly hope it wasn't the rickshaw episode, either...from what I've read about the plot of tomorrow night's show it makes sense that this would be the one...but, hey, who can tell?

That whole idea ended up getting canned cause of the hassle and costs of moving the whole crew over 3,000 miles. Would have been cool though.

The Rickshaw episode was clearly shot outside of NY. When Newman rolls down the hill in the Rickshaw, you can see the traffic lights and bus stop sign were clearly not New York City.

There was going to be an episode shot in Manhattan but they put the Kibosh on it. Chugman!!!

They cancelled those plans due to logistics problems (probably owing to a short time span). My guess is it would've been tonight's episode, "The Puerto Rican Day".
