Georges Original Father

In the original airing of "The Handicap Spot", Jerry Stiller did not play Frank Costanza. Can anybody remember who Georges original father was?/

Stiller sure did played George's father - he was a head of a handicap association

Actually, the episode was re-shot with Stiller as Frank, but there was definitely another Mr. C--I have it on tape.

George's original father was John Randolph. I saw a re-run recently where JERRY's FATHER was played by a different actor, believe it or not. Don't know his name, though.

I am glad you mentioned this. I thought I was going crazy. I remembered that there was a different actor playing George's father in one episode, but Jerry Stiller was playing it in the re-run. I thought that I just had a bad memory.

In "The Handicap Spot" John Randolph played Frank Costanza, but in the re-runs Jerry Stiller play here to. Jerry Stiller did first play in "The Puffy Shirt" as Frank

In "The stakeout" Phil Bruns played Morty Seinfeld (Jerrys Father). Barney Martin started playing Morty in "The Pony Remark" I don't know if "The Stakeout" was re-shot with B. Martin.
