Fans confirm what happens in the final scene after the commercial break when George thinks of a comeback while driving from the airport.
...I am not sure if it's complete. My VCR stopped recording during the ad break AFTER Kramer's plug came out, right at the end.
Was that the end? Or did they come back after break w/ anything besides some credits and the Castle Rock logo w/ some previews for other shows? Lots of times, you know, there is more of the show right at the end...

George was back in New York, in his car, driving from the airport, when he comes up with a perfect comeback for that guy, so he turns the car around.

Yes, I suggested these. If you don't think they are funny, that's fine. Anyway, just wanted to add that, of course, there is no good comeback line if the situation were actually true. I was not suggesting that such comebacks would ever actually be used in the real world.
I think another response typical of George's life would of been, with a surprised tone "Was she, I never noticed".

George returns from Akron and is driving in his car when he starts thinking about a line he can use as a comeback to the "life-support" line. He finally thinks of one and then turns his car around to return to Akron.
