Puddy in "Scream 3"

Look for actor Patrick Warburton playing a bodyguard in the new movie Scream 3.

The local AM station in cleveland had Patrick Warburton on for a little promo interview on Friday, talking about his role in Scream 3 and all kidding aside, this guy was the worlds worst interview. Gave real short answers and hardly even touched on his experience with Seinfeld when asked a question. Just made it real uncomfortable for the guy interviewing, like he had somewhere else to be. Even the traffic guy called him an idiot and said it was about as fun as pulling teeth. I'd have to agree, i was cringing at the whole thing as i listened to it. Oh well, still liked him as Puddy

Appearing on AM radio in Cleveland? Why on earth would he want to be somewhere else? That's the top of the show-biz mountain.

Kinda thought something like that would be coming, but still, you're probably getting paid for doing these promos for your movie, the least you could do is act interested

I noticed that you started the thread of Puddy being in Scream3. i simply responded that he was on a radio station in cleveland and wasnt a very good interview, to which someone else replied that radio in cleveland was the top of the mountain (sarcasm), to which i replied about at least acting interested when plugging a movie that puts money in his pocket. I think you though i was replying directly to your message which i wasnt. Try not to be so jumpy next time

I agree. I wonder if this interview had taken place about 5 years ago if he would not have made more of an effort. Now that Warburton has been signed to play the lead in "The Tick", a Fox TV pilot, he is continuing to surge ahead with his career. Other actors who have been promoting a film they are in and who are very famous have been, at the least, fairly cooperative and congenial...even if they are not particularly outgoing. I always feel for an interviewer when faced with a situation like the one you mentioned.
