Final episode...insider info

There are thousands of possible plotlines based on past plotlines for the final episode....George lands a job as an adviser to Guiliani, Elaine marries Perterman, Kramer sells his Tony, Nemman getting the coveted transfer to Hawaii, Babu returns to exact revenge on Jerry but is thwarted, Delores yells at Jerry. "My real name is Simon, you moron!", the Seinfelds and Costanzas senior reconcile only to start their feud anew, Kramer and Jackie Chiles take on Big Cable,

But I give you odds...that the final scene of the final episode will be the Four sitting at their booth in Monk's discussing such lively topics as: "Hey...how come people with athlete's foot look like they never played a sport in their lives?" or George lamenting his lack of success with women, or Kramer pitching a get rich scheme, or Elaine complaining about Puddy. I predict we will leave the gang just as we found them 9 seasons ago. This is also pretty much how every episode of this sitcom...and any other sitcom...has ended. Gang meets at usual spot...gang has adventure...life returns to normal at usual spot.

Do you actually think anyone believe's this. the only inbfo as to Seinfeld's finnaly that has been released is that the Seinfeld people asked Keith Hernendez to keep his first week in april open. nothing definelte, they may incorperate him in the episode, they may not. i hope they get JFK junior. IT owuld be nice to see him in the episode. I also think they should NOT include the parents, and only include Newman for a few sceens. He is funnier with one liners. He souldn';t be a major character.

and the parents have been so dreadful lately, it would be a shame to have them steal the spotlight an druin the last episode. Fact is, the last episode is still being written, and noone can know what will happen because the wirters aren't sure yet. And when they find out it will be kept TOP SECRET. dan

I read that Examiner article last weekend. I couldn't resist. A lot of it sounds farfetched-- especially Elaine wanting to marry a woman-- but I recall reading an article in, I think, the Enquirer, a couple of years ago that purported to reveal the season finale. It talked about how Susan would die from licking glue on cheap envelopes. I said, "Yeah, right. That's sounds like an Enquirer writer straining to think of something plausible." (Or words to that effect.) But wouldn't cha know, they were right.

Just food for thought-- but I still think (and hope) the Examiner is off-base.

Absolutely...but how's this for the scene over the final credits after the last commercial break...we go back to the comedy club scene, Jerry tells a final joke or two over the credits, then leaves the stage after saying, "you've been a great audience, thanks for everything, good night, everybody!" Fade to black.

I've been hearing a lot of things about the final episode. I wouldn't call the Enquirer insider info because Larry and Jerry are trying to keep the final episode under wraps. But one thing that is certain is that the final scene is probably going to be the most famous final scene of all time. When they film it in front of a live studio audience, they are going to clear out the audience so that they can keep the final scene a secret.
