I can't even imagine Seinfeld in French--there's too many puns, jokes, etc. that would surely not mean much in French. Even the very idea of Jerry speaking French is incredible. (Kramer, I can imagine...)

I live in Vermont near the Quebec border and one of the CBC stations on my cable plays Seinfeld in French. You can't belive how stupid it is and I don't even speak French. Just the way the voice overs try to match the mood is rediculous.

You're both absolutly right ! Seinfeld french version is awful ! the voices are stupid and don't matcth with the sitcom's "spirit" at all. luckly, we have the english version too, on "canal Jimmy", which is a cable channel (good good i know that canal jimmy sounds ridiculous for you :-)) I really can't follow the french version. Also my wife is English....
