I initialy though that too, especially because they seemed so close. But one point that hasn't been mentioned is the fact both George and Jerry found out something bad about both of thier girlfriends. Therefore that leads me to assume that she was not joking and that she is indeed a racist.

I think she was serious when she made though comments, and although it was done as a joke, and was also to prove a point. Most people like that don't think before they speak or realize who they are speaking to when the spill out thier garbarge. Think of Archie Bunker and how many times he put his foot in his mouth!

Jews supposedly do have a certain look about them, although I couldn't pinpoint it for you if I tried. There are certain physical traits that are characterized as Jewish, such as big noses and dark hair. I'm sure there are others but I don't really spend my time researching such things. But these things can often be misleading...a friend of mine is repeatedly asked if he's Jewish, and I myself thought he was, but he's actually Catholic. So please don't judge based on appearance, although hopefully most of you don't anyway. :)

Yeah, sure, they all have big noses and dark hair and and own all the world's money and have all the power, and they run Hollywood. I guess it is common knowledge--to the people of Berlin in 1939. Jewish people cannot have a look, you see it just isn't possible, because being Jewish is adhering to a certain form of beliefs -- it is a RELIGION not a race.
