Bonanza

Hi One of my favourite scenes is, when George is called "Bonanza". I don�t know when and where, but a woman says: Here is a George Bonanza for you ( or similar ). Can you help me and find out the episode?

Well, not sure about Bonanza, but here's a clip from "The Chinese Restaurant",

George: Excuse me, I'm expecting a call... Costanza.

Bruce: Yes, I just got a call. I yell Cartwright, Cartwright. Just like that. Nobody came up, I hang up.

George: Was it for Costanza or...

Bruce: Yes yes, that's it! Nobody answer.

George: Was it a woman?

Bruce: Yes yes, I tell her you not here, she said curse word, I hang up.

(Slow burn as George walks over to Jerry)

George (almost inaudible): She called... he yelled 'Cartwright'... I missed it.

Jerry: Who's Cartwright?

George: I'm Cartwright.

Jerry: You're not Cartwright.

George (exploding): Of course I'm not Cartwright!!

Sorry, it wasn�t in "The Chinese Restaurant". I saw it in a german syndication but can�t remenber when and where it was. AFAIK was it a woman who said called him "George Bonanza." Then George says that his name is "Costanza" in his own special way. It is one of my favourite moments and it makes me mad not to know where to find it.

In German: Hier ist ein ( gewisser ) George Bonanza der sie sprechen m�chte Then George: Mein Name ist Costanza, Costanza. I can�t remember the epsiode. I dont�t believe that it is altered in the German version. Bonanza is also known in the USA, too. Remember Little Joe? This will become a very long day, I will start and rewatch my videos to find out where it was.

I thought Timberlands went on feet...not...okay then...

Well, he *did* say he was 196 cm.

Now, I know I'm just a "dumb American", but I do have a working knowledge of the metric system, so I just assumed he was talking about height.

If not, then I'll say right now that he's the lyingest sumbitch I've ever come across!!

Thanks, Dave, for posting that little exchange from "The Chinese Restaurant." I haven't seen that episode in some time and to imagine George in all his glorious anxiety brings a chuckle and a grin to the end of my work day.
