Totally agree with you all that Kramer's lawyer is a great character. I would love to know whether this character was originally written as exactly that "type" or whether the actor came in and made it his own. (in the same way that say Martin Short would make any character "his own"). I would be interested to get a Seinfeld writer or casting agents view on this. I was also curious...

Agree with you 100%. It is characters like that that make the show as funny as it is. If Jerry sometimes seems stale, or George, or Kramer. Jackie is here, or George's parents. The outlandish characters pusing the envelope of believability.
Jackie is definitely a favorite of mine.
