I have to say, as far as supporting characters go, I also really enjoyed Mr. and Mrs. Ross, and Susan, too. In this episode, The Wizard, we see Mr. and Mrs. Ross exiting a building, in broad daylight, with Mr. Ross still wearing his evening clothes (a tuxedo) while clutching what appears to be a fifth of liquor in a brown paper bag. It looks like a lot more fun than eating a piece of cheese the size of a car battery.

now that's a very interesting remark: how many of us here in this newsgroup would recognize a Hartmann suitcase? I must admit, I have no familiarity whatsoever with that brand: is it just me being non-American or it is not supposed to be the case that the majority of watchers would recognize the Hartmann brand? Either ways, if indeed that detail was intentional (unlikely that it wasn't) then hats off again and again to all those who worked on that great show.

I wouldn't say that's a sign of being uncultured: in my book culture is a very different thing from wealth and knowledge of expensive luxury items that the wealthy spend money on. If it's a sign of anything, it's a sign of you not caring for overpriced items of the mundane.

I am strongly reminded of that episode "a touch of class" from the British classic Fawlty Towers: I would react the way Basil Fawlty had a 180-degree change of heart reaction to the real "his lordship" and "her ladyship" leaving his hotel: he made an angry fist and shouted:"YOU SNOBS!" at their departing car :oD The Rosses definitely qualify and George wouldn't be much different from Basil...

I think one was called Pressing Pete or something... and the other had a shot name, I forgot :oD
