The Airport

On Mike's page, in the Airport script (http://www.geocities.com/tnguym/scripts/TheAirport.html) is mentionned something about what George says to the criminal who wanted the Time Magazine.

George: But you are Blanche... You *are* in the shackles.

I have an idea. It could be about 'A Streetcar Named Desire'. There's a character named Blanche and she gets sent to a mental institute (although I don't see the place for shackles around her wrists) at the end. At least, in the book, it does not make reference to any shackles. It talks about a Jacket, but the Matron says there's no need to use it. Unless the movie were different. But I have seen the movie as well and don't remember about shackles in the movie either.

I still feel they could have been referring to A Streetcar Named Desire. They already did in other episodes: Elaine screaming Stella in The Pen Other reference to Stanley in The Fusilli Jerry (according to Mike's list... don't know what it is about though)

Anyways, maybe I'm totally off track here, any thoughts?

Yes, but I haven't read Moby Dick. I heard it's better the second time. Ahab and the whale become good friends. :)

Maybe I'll read A Streetcar Named Desire a second time. I guess Blanche will wear shackles this time, which will make my comment right.

Oh, and yes, I do expose my books and shelves to have people see I read books.
