I guess this has happened in 2 separate episodes...
One where Frank protects Kim, his long-lost Korean lover, and another with Kramer doing it to Estelle (George's Mom).
I don't see why these women threw such a big fit about this? Don't they realize they were being protected from hitting the dashboard?

Also, the issue is not throwing the arm out, but rather not reaching all the way across. In other words, instead of grabbing a handful of air, with the elbow harmlessly brushing the bosom, they wound up with a hand full of hooters. Hence the term "stopping short."

I guess none of you are old enough to remember automobiles without seat belts. It would have been in his moves from when there were none. I used the move several times. The Korean girl in the scene has her seat belt on but Frank is reacting to an outmoded pass at her. Frank can't stop short but does anyway.:-)
