I think it would been nice if a european started to discuss with George about how arrogant it is that the americans call it "world series" and "word leage" when it is only one nation who compeet.. (George because he would tell about the team he works for and their victory) The others would be a part of discussion.

And a challange. how many times have Norway and norwegian been referd to?

The one that bugs me is Miss Universe. How many contestants have you ever seen from other planets? Mark L.

GO JAYS - But the *World Series* was called that because it was sponsered by a New York Newspaper called I believe (others will correct me) The NEW YORK World or something like that.

Those that go for the world league. Is it just a word with double meaning when the winner of world series call themselves world champions?

Maybee the have a baseball team at the american embassy in Oslo. b t w was it number 4 USA turned out to end in the olympic baseball games ;-)

OK, but even with two nations, it still ain't all the world, as it ain't the whole universe that compeet in miss universe.
