Fans debate whether Jerry intentionally miscounted in the ink-a-dink game in "The Statue" to make George "it" instead of Kramer, and discuss the rules and implications of the counting-out game.
Did Jerry mess up the ink-a-dink in "The Statue" by pointing to Kramer twice in a row? If so, did he do it on purpose? Seems to me that he wanted George to win, so he changed the count to make George "it." But then we find out that being "it" is very bad. Why make the switch in the first place, only to have to lie about it later? (Other than the obvious-that the whole scene was really funny to watch.)

I think he did mess up the ink-a-dink on purpose by pointing to Kramer twice. Kramer noticed and went, "Hey, hey, hey..." But Jerry didn't stop and George was it. As I remember, "it" is good, "out" is bad. If it's not going your way, you can just substitute one for the other and say that's the way you learned it. :-) But I do think Jerry cheated on George's behalf, and then told him that "it" was bad just to mess with him.

Offhand, I think Jerry screwed up on accident. Me and my friends would do stuff like Bubble gum, bubble gum in a dish. How many pieces do you wish? The person who "wish" landed on would say a number and the person doing the rhyme would continue around the circle, spelling out the number and then conclude by saying "spells (the number) and you are not it." The person "it" landed on was gone and a new rhyme would be done in similar fashion and someone else would be eliminated. We kept going until one person was left. So," it" was bad, with my group of friends.
