Remember the guy repulsed by "The Kramer"? ("He sickens me. Yet I can't look away.")

Well, someone I saw in a broadcast tonight of 1960's "Inherit the Wind" (the one with Spencer Tracy, Frederic March, and Gene Kelly) looked very familiar, the guy who played "Prosecutor Tom Davenport." (Actually, several TV actors are in this one, including Dick York, Harry Morgan, and Norman Fell.)

I said to myself, that guy looks a lot like the guy who played, on an "Odd Couple" episode, the instructor of a writing class Felix took. Enter the imdb, and, lo, the actor, Elliott Reid (whose January 16th birthday is the same as mine), did indeed play that part. Cool. Searching further, yep, there he was again as Mr. Armstrong in "The Letter."

Having been born in 1920 (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0717256/), he's enjoyed a long career. Good for him.
