Pushing the bounds of friendship

One of the things I liked about the Bris episode was when Jerry and Elaine complained that their friend were expecting too much from them. I can't remember how it was put, but the implication was that there is a strict heirarchy of friendship, and it's bad to jump ahead of your position before it's time. If anyone remembers the Hernandez episode, the same thing came up when Kieth asked Jerry for a ride to the airport. I've always enjoyed how Jerry and George in particular have a very strict view of the world and are outraged when some- thing forces them out of their path. Martin

Hernandez asked Jerry to help him MOVE from one apartment to another. This was considered by Jerry, and his friends, to be definitely stepping over the bounds of their newly formed friendship.

"He asked you to do what?" "To move." "To move?!" "Yes, to move. I don't think I'm ready for that yet." "The nerve."

Or something close to that...

I think what you were looking for was "level jumping" on their friendship in the Bris episode.

Wasn't there also an episode where someone they just met wanted help moving, and Jerry though that their freindship wasn't ready for that yet? Was it the Keith Hernandez episode????
