Agreed - I laughed for the entire episode!

I'm postive this must have been a parody of a film or TV series, probably a crime movie about an impossible heist: 1. When Jerry first tells his wish to George, he has that trademark "knowing glint" in his eyes that suggets a spoof. G:"The roommate switch - what, are you crazy. I'm telling you, it can't be done." J:"What I wanna know is, are you with me or not?" 2. Stylistic change (indicating parody) as Jerry and George drink prodigidous amounts of coffee while trying to come up with a plan. Knowing laugh from audience. 3. Another stylistic change as George reveals his plan: we see the action of the plan unfolding, with a voiceover from George (the style is reminiscient of when murder mysteries are unravelled, ref. "Murder, She Wrote", Agatha Christie movies, etc.).

This is also the episode where Kramer's name is revealed and we meet his mother, Babs. In the last scene, the gang open the door to Newman's apartment to find Newman and Babs in a tete-a-tete - this to me also seemed like a spoof of something.

Anybody have any idea what was being parodied?
