Poster complains that Friends has become too feminine and girly, comparing it unfavorably to Sex and the City, while others debate whether the show was always targeted at women or shifted over time.

It's like Sex & the City (only with hot chicks) but w/o the gratuitous cursing.

Chandler- put on a sundress and sashay your pretty little self around the town square.

The show used to be tolerable, but then after they got back from England, I think the writers were really trying to reach and reach and it went to crap.

Man last night's episode really insulted my intelligence. If there was anything better on while waiting for The Apprentice to come on I would have switched for sure. The part about Chandler and Monica freaking out because the baby's dad might have been a murderer was especially tiresome and dumb and then the whole "will he or won't he sleep with her" thing between Monica and Ross sealed the deal. Are they trying to make Ross gay on that show or something? At least be somewhat realistic about it.
